The concept of “blissness” emerged from a challenge by my creativity coach, who praised the progress of my burgeoning business. The word “business” initially evoked images of impersonal corporate environments, far removed from personal passions. Challenged to redefine it, I embraced “blissness” to describe my work with SoulCollage®. Building KaleidoSoul is more than a business; it’s a way to share my passion, generate income, and spread joy.
SoulCollage®, created by Seena Frost, blends self-discovery with creative collage. Participants create decks of collaged cards using magazine images that resonate with their subconscious. These decks feature suits representing personality aspects, influential figures, animal guides, and archetypes reflecting life direction. Interpreting these cards reveals inner insights.
Intrigued after creating my first SoulCollage® card, I envisioned a business around it, driven by passion rather than a detailed plan. My initial goal was simply to share SoulCollage® with others.
Creating a “blissness” hinges on passion and intuition. Work must resonate with one’s heart and soul to be fulfilling. Accessing inner wisdom and intuition is key to unlocking abundance.
Immersion in my own SoulCollage® deck fueled my desire to share it. I initiated local workshops in eastern Massachusetts.
Recognizing the need for a website, I researched options and chose SiteSell’s Site Build It (SBI), which facilitated the creation and marketing of KaleidoSoul.com. Building KaleidoSoul involved web design, internet marketing, keyword selection, and HTML basics.
Subsequent steps were guided by intuition, emphasizing openness and awareness. Following these hunches led to the creation of a monthly ezine, “Soul Songs,” collaborations with other websites, an active Yahoo Groups community, e-courses, a members-only tele-class, and an annual SoulCollage® Weekend Retreat.
While some aspects are tedious, remembering the core purpose – living in rhythm with my heart and soul – transforms these tasks into stepping stones.
