The PrintPad offers a cost-effective and efficient solution for businesses that print barcode labels in-house, eliminating the need to dedicate expensive PCs solely for label printing. At half the cost and smaller than a standard laptop, the PrintPad is a rugged and portable device suitable for various workplace environments. Its lightweight design (800 grams) and compact dimensions (219mm x 178mm x 38mm) make it equally suitable for factory production lines and retail store environments.
The PrintPad facilitates the creation of customized merchandise, carton, or compliance labels incorporating text, barcodes, graphics, pricing, weight details, and user instructions. It can also handle serial number printing, expiry date calculations, and production data logging.
The device supports item number scanning for accuracy, validating data against stored databases. A keyboard interface enables the PrintPad to manage up to four printers simultaneously, even when printing different information on various label sizes. It supports Paxar UK printers and numerous barcode printers from other leading manufacturers. Additionally, it can connect to scanners and scales.
Resistant to both impacts and water, the PrintPad can operate on mains power or batteries, providing up to eight hours of use. It can download, store, and print extensive records from commonly used databases worldwide. Featuring a large QWERTY keypad, a backlit display, and 512KB of built-in Flash memory, it can store virtually unlimited label formats. The PrintPad also offers multilingual support and accommodates international character sets. The included LabelView software simplifies label design, and the entire system is fully compliant with year 2000 standards.
Currently, two models are available: the PrintPad 1000 and the PrintPad 4000. While sharing many features, the PrintPad 4000 is designed for applications requiring control of multiple printers and built-in barcode scanning. Both models include a comprehensive one-year warranty and access to Paxar UK’s service network.
