Looking for family-friendly entertainment that guarantees laughter? Discover ComedySportz, a unique improv comedy experience that’s fun for all ages.
ComedySportz pits two teams against each other in a series of improvisational challenges, scenes, and songs. Referees keep the action moving, and the audience votes for the winning team after the National Anthem. Rooted in Keith Johnstone’s Theatersports, ComedySportz was founded in 1984 by Dick Chudnow and has since grown into an international phenomenon.
You can catch ComedySportz shows in cities across the United States, including Spokane, Chicago, Indianapolis, Richmond, and Dallas, as well as in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Because the comedy is clean, interactive, and positive, it’s a perfect outing for families, corporate groups, and everyone in between.
ComedySportz performs over 2,000 shows annually, entertaining audiences at colleges, corporate events, churches, and fundraisers. Fans consistently praise the high quality and engaging nature of their performances.
Beyond performances, ComedySportz offers workshops and seminars focused on teambuilding and communication skills. These sessions provide a fun and effective way to enhance teamwork and communication in the workplace.
The workshops are structured in three levels. Level One focuses on the fundamentals of improvisation, including trust, speed, status, overcoming fears, and basic scene creation. Participants learn through games and activities that require on-the-spot thinking.
Level Two builds upon the skills learned in Level One, introducing ComedySportz-specific games and further developing improvisational abilities. Level Two students even have performance opportunities. Level Three continues to refine and advance these skills.
If you’re seeking a seminar that combines learning valuable communication and teamwork skills with a guaranteed good time, ComedySportz can create a customized program for your organization.
ComedySportz delivers comedy, healthy competition, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
