The creators of EASYLABEL proudly introduce the Apollo 1, a state-of-the-art label printer featuring an optional, high-precision label applicator. This innovative system is engineered for delicate print-and-apply tasks, ideally suited for electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and other applications demanding exceptional accuracy.
Like other models in the Apollo Series, the Apollo 1 boasts a stand-alone operation, enabling label printing independently of a computer. The Apollo 1 applicator employs a tamp-type mechanism, ensuring precise application of small labels within an accuracy of +/- 0.02 inches. Rigorous field tests have demonstrated impressive placement accuracy, achieving a best of 0.008 inches and a worst case of 0.031 inches. It is successfully used to apply labels as small as five inches wide by two inches high. The applicator seamlessly integrates with the front of the Apollo 1 thermal transfer label printer, maintaining a remarkably compact footprint.
The Apollo 1 delivers a crisp 300 dpi print resolution at a speed of eight inches (200mm) per second, with a maximum print width of 4.2 inches (108mm). It comes standard with an internal rewind and ribbon saver, along with a high-speed 32-bit processor and 2MB of RAM. The printer also incorporates three resident scalable typefaces and comprehensive barcode support, including UPC/EAN, Code 39, Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, and two-dimensional symbologies like PDF417.
