The PrintPad is a dedicated barcode printing terminal that eliminates the need for tying up PCs solely for label printing, offering a cost-effective and productivity-boosting solution. Significantly cheaper than a PC and more compact than a laptop, the rugged and portable PrintPad is suitable for diverse workplace environments. Weighing only 800 grams with dimensions of 219mm x 178mm x 38mm, it’s equally at home on a factory production line or in a retail store.
PrintPad facilitates the creation of customized merchandise, carton, or compliance labels, incorporating text, barcodes, graphics, price and weight information, and user instructions. It also supports serial number printing, expiry date calculation, and production information logging. Item numbers can be scanned for accuracy, and data can be validated against stored databases. The keyboard-operated PrintPad can manage up to four printers simultaneously, even with varying label formats, and supports Paxar UK printers along with hundreds of barcode printers from other leading manufacturers. Furthermore, PrintPad can connect to scanners and scales. Its impact and water-resistant design allows for reliable performance powered by either mains or batteries, providing up to eight hours of operation.
PrintPad can download, store, and print thousands of records from various databases. Featuring a Qwerty keypad and a backlit display, it includes 512KB of built-in Flash memory, accommodating a virtually unlimited number of label formats. It also offers multilingual support and international character sets. The included LabelView software simplifies label design, and the system is fully compliant with year 2000 standards.
Two models are currently available: PrintPad 1000 and PrintPad 4000. Sharing many features, the PrintPad 4000 is ideal for applications requiring control of multiple printers and built-in barcode scanning. Both models come with a one-year warranty and support from Paxar UK’s service network.
