A lower-glycemic diet would restrict:

3. Sodas and other aerated drinks.
4. Potatoes

Vitamin B5 is vital for a nutrient-rich diet, found in foods like pork, beef, chicken, eggs, saltwater fish, potatoes, wheat, and fresh vegetables. However, milling grains can deplete up to 50% of this vitamin, and many diets lack sufficient fresh vegetables. While diet may not be the sole cause of acne and rosacea, it significantly contributes to prevention and management. Foods often associated with acne flare-ups include sugary cakes, cookies, sweets, alcohol, chocolate, fried foods, greasy foods, dairy products, peanuts, coconut products, fats, and oils.

While the link may not be direct for everyone, limiting these potentially problematic foods is advisable. A healthy, balanced diet promotes overall well-being, reflecting positively on your skin’s health.
