Accenture, a leading global professional services company, has been recognized with the Annual Diversity Initiative Achievement Award for the second time in three years. The National Association of Minority and Women-Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) presented the award at their Annual Meeting and Law Firm Expo in New York.

The Diversity Initiative Achievement Award acknowledges a NAMWOLF business partner that dedicates at least 5% of its external legal counsel budget to minority and women-owned law firms. Accenture has participated in the program since its inception three years ago and was the inaugural award recipient in 2005.

Yolanda Coly, Managing Director of NAMWOLF, praised Accenture’s commitment, stating, “Accenture has demonstrated exceptional dedication to hiring and cultivating lasting partnerships with law firms owned and operated by women and minorities. Moreover, the company has consistently been a strong advocate for our mission and the cause of fostering a more diverse corporate America.”

Joel Stern, Accenture’s Associate General Counsel and Director of Legal Services in the Americas, emphasized Accenture’s ongoing efforts to foster inclusivity. “Accenture continuously seeks innovative approaches to cultivate an inclusive culture, which strengthens our ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients,” Stern said. “NAMWOLF provides a valuable platform for connecting with a talented network of minority- and women-owned law firms across the country, accelerating our progress toward a more diverse and equitable legal landscape.”
