Stroykompleks Group introduces Thermo-SIM, a modern heat-insulating material used as plaster for all categories of buildings and structures, both inside and outside the facade (patent No. 2004-00799, all rights registered). There is no need for initial wall insulation (foam, mineral wool, etc.).

Applying Thermo-SIM in a facade insulation system dramatically reduces the labor intensity of work when insulating reconstructed facades and facades of newly erected buildings, and, therefore, the cost of the work itself, not to mention the cost of those materials that are used in traditional ‘wet’ systems of external facade insulation, based on multi-layering.

1. Low Thermal Conductivity
Thermo-SIM, due to its low thermal conductivity coefficient (?= 0.064 kcal/mh°C), provides 30% heat savings for buildings. A 2.5 cm layer of the mixture, in terms of its thermal insulation characteristics, replaces a 2-brick wall! Due to its low thermal conductivity, Thermo-SIM saves fuel for heating the building while reducing wall thickness.

2. Fire Safety
Thermo-SIM does not burn, fire resistance class G1(A1). Unlike polystyrene, it is not afraid of open fire! During a fire, it does not release suffocating gases, smoke, or toxic substances.

In a fire, Thermo-SIM does not disintegrate for 40-60 minutes. This important property of Thermo-SIM prevents the melting of working reinforcement (welded meshes and spatial frames) in wall blocks during fires, which inevitably leads to the rapid collapse of the entire building. Thermo-SIM withstands multiple temperature cycles!

Thermo-SIM does not contain polystyrene (EPS), which, as you know, burns well, and its combustion products are extremely dangerous to human life (cyanide-containing gases)! The movement of gases always occurs from a warmer zone to a colder one. Therefore, a higher temperature than in the room during the combustion of polystyrene will inevitably drive harmful substances through the enclosure into the apartment.

Since Thermo-SIM does not burn in open flames, it can also be used on objects where the use of polystyrene is not allowed at all. These are buildings with increased fire safety requirements and responsibility (hospitals, children’s institutions, etc.), as well as buildings with increased humidity of internal premises (swimming pools, saunas, solariums, baths, water treatment facilities, car washes, etc.).

3. Weight
One cubic meter of dry Thermo-SIM mixture weighs 320 kg/m3. Thermo-SIM is 5 times lighter than classic plaster (1300 kg/m3) and floats freely in water. Thus, Thermo-SIM reduces the static load on the building, allowing you to reduce the wall thickness by up to 30%, which significantly reduces the load on the foundation, and overall leads to a reduction in capital costs for new construction or reconstruction.

4. Low Water Absorption
The very low water absorption of Thermo-SIM material indicates its good waterproofing properties (<3% by volume (after 120 days)). 5. Bond Strength 10 days after application to the surface, Thermo-SIM acquires the strength of concrete (bond strength - 1.4 N/mm). 6. Vapor Permeability An important distinguishing feature of Thermo-SIM is good vapor permeability - walls covered with Thermo-SIM 'breathe'. Thermo-SIM has very low diffusion resistance. With Thermo-SIM mixture, you can easily and effectively seal and insulate holes in walls, window slopes, inter-panel joints, ends of panel buildings, various openings for engineering systems, etc. Solving this problem creates the prerequisites for long-term preservation and functional reliability of buildings. Thermo-SIM is also ideal for sealing holes when laying communications, when sealing voids during the installation of window blocks, the ends of panel houses and is devoid of the shortcomings inherent in traditionally used insulating inserts made of expanded polystyrene, semi-rigid fiberglass or mineral wool. 7. Work Technology The productivity of 4 plasterers per shift with a layer thickness of 2.5 cm is 120-180 sq.m. Thanks to its ease of use, Thermo-SIM saves working time, does not require special delicacy, great mechanization or any special organization of the plastering process. The technology for creating an insulating layer is similar to the production of work with ordinary plaster compositions, which is much easier, faster and cheaper compared to work on insulating plaster systems based on mineral wool and polystyrene. Application to the working surface is carried out manually with a regular spatula. The high workability of Thermo-SIM allows you to shorten construction times. When working with polystyrene and mineral wool, you have to wait until the insulation on the cement adhesive mortar grips the working surface (48-60 hours), then a lot of time is lost on attaching the insulation boards to the wall with dowels, then you need to wait until the reinforcing mesh embedded in the glue dries, applied to the insulation. 8. Universality Thermo-SIM has good adhesion and can be combined with all wall materials - stone, brick, shell rock, pumice, concrete, reinforced concrete, aerated concrete, foam concrete, cement, gypsum, drywall, iron. Thermo-SIM creates a monolith with the base, preventing the occurrence of air pockets between the layers of the wall, where there is a possibility of moisture accumulation. Thermo-SIM, applied in one or more layers, can be used as a leveling and insulating primer plaster for all common types of walls (both internal and external) both when repairing old buildings and when constructing new ones. It is possible to obtain effectively insulated surfaces with significant irregularities, where it is impossible or difficult to use polystyrene or mineral wool. 9.
